CHANTAL CÔTÉ
Directrice délégué chez le Fonds Bell
Chantal Côté occupe le poste de directrice déléguée au Fonds Bell pour le volet francophone au Canada. De 2017 à 2019, elle a été chef des programmes au Fonds Bell. Chantal Côté évolue dans l’univers numérique depuis près de 20 ans. Elle a auparavant occupé le poste de Premier Chef des services numériques pour les chaînes spécialisées ICI ARTV et ICI EXPLORA chez Radio-Canada. Elle a auparavant travaillé chez Astral où elle agissait à titre de conseillère numérique pour Z télé, ainsi que chez TVA où ses fonctions de Chef des services numériques l’ont amené à créer et mettre en valeur le contenu des sites et des médias sociaux. Chantal a également oeuvré chez Canoë pendant plusieurs années à titre de journaliste culturelle, chef de section Arts et divertissement et chargée de projet. Elle est détentrice d’un baccalauréat en communications, cinéma et publicité de l’Université de Montréal. Elle est aussi membre de l’Académie canadienne du cinéma et de la télévision.

Deputy Director, French Canada, at the Bell Fund
Chantal is Bell Fund’s Deputy Director, French Canada, a certified independent production fund. Since 1997, the Fund has received over $200 million in financial contributions from Bell TV to support the development and production of high-quality Canadian content. Chantal Côté has been in the digital world for nearly 20 years. She previously worked for ICI ARTV and ICI EXPLORA specialty channels as Head of Digital Services. She previously worked for Astral where she was Advisor, Digital Services for Z TV, and for TVA as Head of Digital Services where she was responsible for creating and enhancing the sites’ content and social media channels. Chantal also worked at Canoe for several years as a Journalist for the Arts and Entertainment section and Project Manager. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications, film and advertising from University of Montreal. She is also a member of the Canadian Academy of Film and Television.
