Andrea Griffith

Executive in Charge of Production - Original Lifestyle Content, Corus Entertainment

Andrea Griffith is a Production Executive of Lifestyle Content for Corus’ Original Programming team. In this capacity, she oversees the development and production of original series for HGTV Canada and Food Network Canada. She has shepherded top-rated series such as Canada’s Handyman Challenge, Holmes and Holmes, as well as the Corus Studios hits Family Home Overhaul, Backyard Builds, Scott’s Vacation House Rules, Big Food Bucket List and Junior Chef Showdown.

Prior to joining Corus (previously Shaw Media), Andrea developed her sharp storytelling and production expertise as a show runner, director, and writer on a wide range of award-winning kids’ and lifestyle series for HGTV Canada, Slice, YTV, CBC and W Network.

Andrea is a long-standing member of the Loyalist College Advisory Board and was a part-time instructor for the new graduate programs in Lifestyle Media and Food Media at Centennial College. Andrea is also an active member of Corus’ Diversity Council. In 2019, she spearheaded a Corus-wide, week-long, cross-provincial initiative on Diversity and Inclusion awareness. She is a WIFT mentor as well as a member of the Steering Committee of the newly-formed Black Employee Resource Group at Corus. Andrea’s dedication, positive spirit and passion for great storytelling are what characterize her best.
