Welcome to All Access 2018.

Audience demand for audiovisual content continues to grow worldwide, and Manitoba is playing a part in responding to that demand. The 2016-2017 year was our best in a decade and estimates for the current year are even higher. Manitoba is recognized internationally as a leading Canadian production hub with world class crew, strong talent base and experienced producers in all areas.

All Access 2018 explores market trends and emerging business opportunities for content creators working in all genres and formats. We are delighted to co-present La Connexion francophone with the Alliance des producteurs francophones du Canada (APFC), a partnership that will enrich the opportunity for delegates to explore interprovincial as well as international coproductions for both French and English-language markets.

A warm thank you to all of the presenters, guests, partners and the On Screen Manitoba board, staff and volunteers who contribute to the success of All Access.

I look forward to our conversations throughout the next few days.

NICOLE MATIATION, Executive Director, On Screen Manitoba.

The Alliance des producteurs francophones du Canada (APFC) is very proud to co-present with On Screen Manitoba La Connexion francophone at All Access 2018. This two-day conference, the result of a successful partnership between our two organizations, is a unique opportunity to learn, discuss and reflect on ways to develop tomorrow's audiences, access new markets, strengthen relationships with distributors and broadcasters, and build new business partnerships.

On behalf of the APFC, I want to extend my sincere appreciation to On Screen Manitoba’s entire team, and a special thank you to Nicole Matiation for putting together a conference which offers a very rich program, a reflection of our dynamic sector. I want to thank all the speakers, panelists and invited guests as well as all the participants, members of APFC, FRIC and OSM for attending. I am convinced that this conference will inspire and encourage dialogue and action between partners and stakeholders, and will foster growth in the French Canadian media production industry.

CAROL ANN PILON, Executive Director, APFC
