Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations made at least two full business days before the event are eligible for a 75% refund.

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within two business days of the event or for no-shows.

  • On Screen Manitoba reserves the right to cancel or postpone the event if minimum registration is not met. If the event is canceled, all registered participants will receive a full refund.

Getting There 

We encourage commuting and carpooling whenever possible. Both venues are easy to reach by car or bus.  

  • By Bus: Winnipeg Transit serves both venues. For The Forks, the nearest stop is #10907 (Eastbound Forks Market at The Forks Market), with additional stops at Union Station (Main and Broadway). For The Fort Garry Hotel, nearby stops include #10589 and #10590 (Broadway at Smith) and #10651 and #11052 (Smith and Broadway/Main and Broadway). 

  • By Car: Paid parking is available at The Forks Parkade (63 Forks Market Road) and at The Fort Garry Hotel (valet, Lower Parkade off Garry Street, or Upper Parkade via ramp on Garry Street).  

Transferring from The Forks Market to The Fort Garry Hotel 

Walking between venues takes about 10–15 minutes (distance: 650 metres). Commuting and carpooling are encouraged. 

Accessibility  

  • At The Forks Market, an elevator is located between the historic side and the main market hall, providing access to the second-floor Event Space.  

  • At The Fort Garry Hotel, accessible entry is available via the Fort Street entrance with ramp or through the Upper Parkade entrance. Elevators connect the lobby to the mezzanine.
