Carolyn Pennell joined Telefilm Canada’s Strategy and Research team in 2011, where she leads the organization’s effort to develop impactful and relevant market intelligence and consumer trends for the Canadian audiovisual industry.
Carolyn holds an MBA from HEC Montréal. She began her career in marketing while still completing her undergraduate degree at Ryerson University. She has attained over a decade of marketing experience in various industries including film, consumer goods, retail, and fine arts.
Native to Southern Ontario, she was drawn to Québec by the French language and culture, and has made Montréal her home since 2007.
