Christopher Paetkau is a natural history producer focused on the Canadian Arctic and Marine Protected Areas in critical and iconic habitat zones. He’s also a wildlife cinematographer specializing in Arctic animals and has recently filmed for Netflix, Disney, and National Geographic. He was awarded Telefilm’s Talent To Watch for a feature film about the challenges facing climate scientists on an icebreaker in the Northwest Passage. When he’s not in the office or in the wilderness walking with the world’s largest land carnivore, he’s a Dad to a daughter who’s taught him more about ingeniousness and the spark and spirit of life than he thought possible.
