Dinae Robinson is a Saulteaux-Ojibway writer, director, showrunner, and producer. She is currently co-showrunner of Season 5 of Taken and was selected for the 2024–2025 Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television’s Executive Residency Program and Playback’s 10 to Watch 2024. A two-time Banff Rockie Award nominee, Dinae co-created Snapchat’s Reclaim(ed) and feature documentaries True Story Part One and Part Two for the History Channel. She also led all three seasons of APTN’s 7TH GEN, which aired its final season in 2024. Dinae continues to develop multiple scripted and unscripted projects focused on Indigenous stories and voices.
