EVANY ROSEN

Writer, actor, comedian and co-creator of the upcoming Crave series New Eden

Originally from Toronto, Evany Rosen is a versatile and talented Writer, Stand-Up Comic, On Camera and Voice Actor. While attending school in Halifax, she became a founding member of the sketch troupe Picnicface, with whom she created the hit Comedy Network show Picnicface. Since then, Evany has become a highly accomplished and in-demand television writer, having worked on numerous series including Baroness Von Sketch Show (CBC/IFC), Gaming Show In My Parents’ Garage (Disney), This Hour Has 22 Minutes (CBC), 3 Amigonauts (YTV), and Cupcake and Dino: General Services (Netflix). Her on-screen credits include CBC’s Workin’ Moms, Baroness Von Sketch Show, HBO Canada's Call Me Fitz, CTV's Saving Hope, and three seasons of the award winning Web Series Space Janitors. She also enjoys a thriving career in voice acting with series regular roles on Hotel Transylvania (Disney), Mysticons (Nickolodeon), Total Drama: The Ridonculous Race (CartoonNetwork) and Winston Steinburger and Sir Dudley Ding Dong (Teletoon). As a standup comedian, Evany has appeared multiple times at Just For Laughs comedy festival and is a regular on CBC’s The Debaters. Her recent debut book of humour essays, What I Think Happened: An Underresearched History of the Western World (Robin’s Egg Books) has earned praise from comedy heavyweights like Paul F. Tomkins and Samantha Bee and is already in it’s second printing. Her next exciting project will be her original Crave comedy series, New Eden, which she co-created, co-wrote and will co-star, coming in late 2019.
