GREG KLYMKIW

Greg Klymkiw is currently the Executive Director of The Winnipeg Film Group. He has devoted his life to the creation, production and promotion of independent Canadian Cinema. For 30+ years he has served as a producer, screenwriter, script editor, film critic, film programmer, broadcast journalist and teacher. He produced the first three features by Guy Maddin and masterminded the international cult film success of Tales from the Gimli Hospital. He produced and co-wrote the screenplay of Cynthia Roberts’s The Last Supper which won a Best Feature Film Award as the Berlin International Film Festival. He spent fourteen years as a mentor, Senior Creative Consultant and Producer-in-Residence at Norman Jewison’s Canadian Film Centre in Toronto.
