KAYLA LORETTE
Writer and performer
Kayla Lorette has been writing and performing for over ten years. A celebrated improviser, she has toured extensively through Europe and North America with her comedy duo, The Sufferettes. She has won several Canadian Comedy Awards, including Best Female Improviser, Best Improv Troupe, and Best Female Performance in a Webseries for her role in Space Riders: Division Earth. Her film SHE STOOPS TO CONQUER, which she in co-wrote and starred, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and won the Canadian Screen Award for Best Live Action Short Drama. Kayla’s extensive film and television credits also include That’s So Weird, The Second City Project, Schitts Creek, Kim’s Convenience, Baroness Von Sketch Show, Workin’ Moms, and The Beaverton.
