LOUISE O’BRIEN-MORAN
Director of Film Financing, Tax Credits & Film Commission Services at Manitoba Film and Music
Louise O’Brien-Moran is the Director of Film Financing, Tax Credits and Film Commission Services for Manitoba Film & Music and has been a significant driver of production since joining the crown corporation 18 years ago. Her expertise in physical production has contributed to significant growth in the service production sector for the province. In her capacity as Director of Film Financing, she has overseen the investment of more than 35 feature films and over 125 hours of prime time TV series, as well as a considerable number of factual and documentary programs. With 25 years experience in the industry, Louise has worked as a Unit Publicist, Location Manager and Assistant Director for feature films and television series. She is committed to career development in the film industry, having previously instructed for Film Training Manitoba. Louise currently collaborates with the Heschka Institute of Digital Innovation (HIDI) through Sisler's Post-High Program.
