MARIELLE POUPELIN
Spécialiste, Développement des affaires internationales chez Téléfilm Canada
Après avoir obtenu une maitrise en administration de l’Université d’Angers (France), Mme Poupelin commence à travailler dans le secteur de la production cinématographique. En 1990, elle quitte la France pour s’établir au Canada où elle poursuit sa carrière en production de films et d’émissions de télévision.
En 2004, elle se joint à Téléfilm Canada à titre d’analyste financière au sein de l’équipe chargée de sélectionner les projets de longs métrages admissibles à un financement. En 2010, Mme Poupelin est nommée directrice déléguée, Coproduction . Pendant 6 ans elle gère l’équipe en charge d’évaluer les projets de coproduction de films et d’émissions de télévision présentés par des producteurs canadiens et travaille étroitement avec le bureau des Politiques et programmes du film et de la vidéo au Ministère du Patrimoine canadien.
En 2016, Mme Poupelin assume la direction intérimaire du secteur de promotion internationale et est nommée à titre de directrice en mars 2018.
Aujourd’hui, Mme Poupelin occupe le poste de Spécialiste du développement des affaires internationales et depuis 2019, elle est la représentante canadienne pour Eurimages, le Fonds culturel du Conseil de l'Europe.

MARIELLE POUPELIN
Specialist, International Business Development at Telefilm Canada
After completing a degree in administration at the University of Angers in France, Marielle immediately began working in film production. In 1990, Marielle moved from France to Canada, where she continued her career working in film and TV production.
In 2004, she joined Telefilm Canada as a financial analyst on the team responsible for selecting feature film projects eligible for funding. In 2010, Ms. Poupelin was appointed Deputy Director, Co-production. For 6 years, she managed the team in charge of evaluating film and television co-production projects presented by Canadian producers, and worked closely with the Office of Film & Video Policies and Programs at the Department of Canadian Heritage.
In 2016, Ms. Poupelin assumed the interim management of the international promotion sector and was appointed as director in March 2018.
Today Ms. Poupelin is an international business development specialist and since 2019, she is the Canadian representative for Eurimages, the cultural support fund of the Council of Europe.
