Samuel Bischoff is DGC’s Public Affairs Manager. Based in Montreal, he leads the development and writing of policies, research projects, as well as the monitoring of regulatory affairs and related communications for the Guild.
Trained in copyright and audiovisual law, Samuel has worked alternately with film, television and digital media production and distribution companies in across Canada. In particular, Samuel has previously worked in Manitoba, serving the development of province’s screen industry. He is particularly interested in issues of monetization and distribution of online content, the evolution of public policies and the status of the artist.
