Having spent over 16 years working onset in Manitoba, T’ai Pu transitioned into the position of Assistant Business agent for I.A.T.S.E. 856 where he now applies his history as a technician and his legacy of community action to his new role in the Union. T’ai Pu is working with the Unions, Guilds, and other stakeholders to advance prospects for more sustainable and equitable production as well as increase a sense of responsibility and community within the film production industry. With the significant advances in technology and cultural awareness, our industry faces many challenges as we move forward and consider the power and impact of our industry. Working together, we can effect change before change effects us.
