Through an open and participatory fishbowl discussion*, industry members will exchange perspectives on the evolving state of Francophone media production in Manitoba, highlighting challenges and opportunities.

*A fishbowl conversation is an interactive discussion where panelists speak in an inner circle while audience members in an outer circle listen, with open chairs allowing participants to join and rotate in, ensuring diverse perspectives.

Through a participatory fishbowl discussion, industry professionals will explore inclusive training pathways and workforce development to support a sustainable media production industry in Manitoba.

Panelists will explore Manitoba’s growing virtual production sector, including training opportunities and infrastructure development. Francophone directors will share their experiences with StudioLab XR training, while New Media Manitoba will outline available programs and the new virtual production centre.
